The trade deadline this season and is Tuesday March 3rd, 2020 at 11:59pm EST. so have everything taken care of before midnight. In years past we have given extra time, but with just about weeks left there us ample time to get those deals finished.
Also note that as per the league rules, no Free Agent signings will be allowed after this time as well.
Trading and free agency will be opened soon after our playoffs conclude and will be announced.
Take these 3ish weeks to get those deals in!
Good luck!

Perfect, just wasn't sure if it would effect when you wanted our deadline to be or not.

Isn’t March 3rd cutting it a little close to playoffs?
There would still be lots of time to make deals if we aligned our date with the NHL’s.
I’m just saying.

The deadline this year should promote activity right to the end of the season (a week before playoffs). It'll give those bubble teams a clear picture to whether they are buyers/sellers etc. Also allows those teams in the playoff picture to ensure all FA signings etc fill in for possible injured players. So Tuesday, the 3rd of March at 11:59pm is the trade/FA signing deadline.

In the summer BOG meetings I will propose we have a fixed trade deadline date with a school of thought that is contrary to what has been outlined above.
Thanks for the reply.
