With the actual NHL draft passed, we can look towards our league entry draft. Right now the date is tentative, but I would like to begin 12:00 pm EST Sunday July 15th, 2018. As usual we will have a 12 hour clock with time stopping between 10pm and 10am. This gives a while to get prospects sorted out and read up on research. It also allows for plenty of time, as we've had some drafts go fairly quick and others last over a month. Lists can be provided for picks if they can not be made at a certain time.

If there are any issues with the date please let me know.

Works for me. I'll be on vacation in the latter rounds of the draft, but I'll still have internet access.

The way we do it with basically a 24 hour clock is perfect. Not too long, not too short.

Is the draft confirmed now to start this Sunday?

Guess I forgot to take the "tentative" off haha. Yes.. the clock will start this Sunday at noon. However I will open the draft board up as of today and picks can be made without a time limit.

As of now, the draft has officially begun (time begins at noon Sunday). That way if we get 1 pick, 10 picks etc prior to Sunday it can get going.

Remember.. be sure to message the next GM after you pick!

To clarify the wording of the rule..

If your 12hrs times out (ex. Rangers pick #15) the next team is on the clock. However, the previous team can make their pick up at any point in the draft, they will simply not be given the grace period they had in the 12hrs. Thus if other teams pick quickly, your pick can drop.

And just remember the clock shuts off from 10pm ro 10am. And be sure to message the next GM
