Over 48hrs have passed since Ekholm has been claimed by the Oilers. He has not since been added to the NHL roster. Edmonton will forfeit the rights to Ekholm and he will be reverted back to the Winnipeg Jets minor league system.

3 other Yahoo moves were made after the claim had processed. Unfortunately Ekholm is now once again property of Winnipeg.
