Lottery draft 2019

The NHL will hold their annual lottery draft on Tuesday April 9th. This will help determine the order of our bottom 6 teams for the draft. As usual, only the bottom 6 teams can move up or down depending on the results, and can move a maximum of 2 spots (ex. The 1st seed can only drop as far as the 3rd seed, and the 6th seed can only move up as far as the 4th seed). If a team or teams outside of the bottom 6 jump in to the top 6 picks, it will not affect the outcome.

The bottom 6 for our league are as follows:

12. Edmonton
11. Montreal
10. Ottawa
9. New York

They will coincide with the bottom 6 NHL teams:

30. Los Angeles

11th: Among teams eliminated in the second round of the playoffs, the one with the worst regular season record
12th: Among teams eliminated in the second round of the playoffs, the one with the best regular season record

Since Cool finished 6th in the regular season, he got the 11th rank and you the 12th.
